When we launched Moss & Mule, we knew Florence, Alabama had to be the heart of our first collection. It's more than just a city—it’s a cultural echo chamber of music, art, architecture, and soul that resonates throughout the South.
The Shoals area—home to Muscle Shoals Sound Studio and legends like Aretha Franklin and Otis Redding—reminds us that small towns often hold the biggest stories. That spirit of underdog creativity is exactly what drives our designs.
Each Florence tee was imagined with the landmarks, stories, and memories of locals in mind: Ghost Bridge silhouettes, UNA purple hues, and quiet nods to Tennessee River mornings.
We’re not here to mass-produce trends. We’re here to revive roots, reframe nostalgia, and rep it proudly. That’s why every shirt starts with a simple question: what does this place feel like?
If you've ever strolled downtown Florence or crossed O’Neal Bridge at sunset, you know. There’s a warmth, a rhythm, a soul—and we’re honored to wear it on our sleeves.
